In a mature industry, custom
molders must find ways to stand out in a crowd. One way Port Erie does that is by taking
on complex manufacturing projects that require running multiple molds and numerous
assembly operations. For one such project, Port Erie manufactures several models of an
upscale Christmas tree stand that require running up to 15 molds. Port Erie manufactures
the array of components, builds several sub-assemblies, and brings them all together for
final assembly at one of our larger machines.
With presses ranging in size from |
55 to 1500
tons, we can handle a wide range of mold sizes.
Port Erie can also package your product, act as the distribution warehouse,
and blind drop ship directly to the destinations of your choice. |

Other Secondary Operations
From decorating the part, to assembly, to packaging,
to warehousing and shipping...Port Erie can handle any or all of
the tasks associated to get your products to customers. Having all
those tasks handled by the manufacturer drives cost out of the supply
chain. We can also react quickly. For example, a packaging supplier
leases space at our warehouse up the street and stocks packaging
for many of our customers. Get a big order? No problem. The packaging
is up the street and you don’t have any carrying costs. |
