In a mature industry, custom injection molders must find ways to stand out in a crowd. One way Port Erie does that is by taking on complex manufacturing projects that require running multiple molds and numerous assembly operations. For one such project, Port Erie manufactured several models of an upscale Christmas tree stand that required running up to 15 molds. Port Erie manufactured the array of components, then put together several sub-assemblies, and brought them all together for final assembly at one of our larger machines.

We’ve handled lots of other assembly jobs as well, from glare frames to television components.   With presses ranging in size from 55 to 1500 tons, we can handle a wide range of mold sizes.
